Founded on June 6, 1909, Resende Futebol Clube has been consolidating its position as one of the main soccer training clubs in Rio de Janeiro. The club has been in the elite of Rio de Janeiro's soccer since 2008, with several outstanding campaigns in this period, including the runner-up spot in the 2009 “Taça Guanabara” (Guanabara Cup) and, more recently, the title of Rio 2022 Cup Champion.
